Beginning in 2004, the Washington State Department of Corrections and The Evergreen State College set a unique precedent for adopting sustainable projects and protocols that have resulted in cleaner water, reduced energy use, greater recycling, reduced operating costs, and inmates with a more engaged attitude toward nature and sustainability. The Program Manager will develop, expand and evaluate initiatives that promote sustainability of corrections facilities that will in turn, improve offender behavior, reduce recidivism, enhance career possibilities for inmates in Washington State, and increase educational opportunities for students and faculty at The Evergreen State College.

Salary: $2,122 to $2,271 per mo. for this 60% time position + excellent benefits
